In 1967, 5 national federations representing private employment agencies from Belgium, France, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, decided to join forces and formed in Paris the International Confederation of Temporary Work Agencies, that would later become the World Employment Confederation. 50 years later, the Confederation has become the voice of the employment industry, representing 50 countries and 7 of the largest international workforce solutions companies.
