The Department of Social Security of the Externado University of Colombia  has recently launched its new magazine Páginas de Seguridad Social, a publication created for academics and professionals to reflect on systems, services and challenges countries and societies face in terms ow welfare, security, and social protection.

The magazine’s reach is broad. Articles on different topics linked to social security are welcome, including healthcare protection, old age protection, protection against labor risks, and tending to individuals’ needs in the development of social security as a right. These topics can be addressed from different disciplines, such as: law, economics, public management and administration, which contribute to the development of social security as an autonomous discipline.

A call has been made for articles and papers on the topics mentioned, and it will remain open until October 31^st 2017.
