Twitter announced the appointment of the journalist Gustavo Poloni as Director of the Microblogging Network for Latin America

Poloni will be responsible for leading contents partnerships with radio and television broadcasters, digital and print media, and opinion makers, as well as identifying new opportunities for non-traditional media.

“The goal is to provide solutions together with the different areas of Twitter so that the media may improve their use of the platform and deliver quality content to people”.

Poloni has a degree in journalism. He has worked for large media groups, such as Editorial Abril, where he was a journalist for the weekly magazine Veja and was responsible for the editorial of Info magazine; in addition, he was editorial chief for Galileu magazine at Editora Globo.

He also was one of the hosts of the radio program Morning Show, of the radio broadcaster Jovem Pan FM. Last year, he lived in Mexico City, where he also produced content for different media and magazines in Latin America.
