The technology lab and the center of education innovation of the Monterrey Institute of Technology, TecLabs, and Orion Startups, the leading startups accelerator in Latin America, will launch a corporate acceleration program in the area of education technologies.

The corporate acceleration program, Edtech Accelerator, is a Teclabs initiative that seeks to promote entrepreneurs who are interested in changing the rules of the game in the education area, looking for new ways to innovate in traditional learning, seizing the entire support system of the Monterrey Institute of Technology.

Edtech accelerator looks for companies in education areas, such as: future of basic education (K-12), online learning and superior education, life and work learning, and emerging learning technologies.

The goal of Edtech accelerator is to lure every startup that aims at innovating in methodologies and traditional education tools to support the technological development of the country and go along with the strong growth of innovation that the world is going through.

The projects will be part of a 5 months acceleration program and receive a USD 30,000 investment in return for shareholding. The program will be developed in two strategic places: the Monterrey Institute of Technology Campus Chihuahua and the Campus Monterrey.

The call will be open until July 31^st and every entrepreneur who is innovating in technology and education innovation is welcome to enroll.
