One month after announcing the acquisition of Adecco Uruguay, American firm SGF Global has announced the acquisition of Adecco Ecuador. This strategic move consolidates SGF Global’s presence in the workforce solutions sector in the region, granting it significant expansion in the Ecuadorian market.
SGF Global has taken full control of Adecco Ecuador’s operations, integrating its valuable client portfolio and a team of qualified professionals. SGF Global is introducing innovation in the region through new services such as Nearshoring and Employer of Record (EOR), in addition to services like project management, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), and corporate training, reaffirming its commitment to local and regional development.
SGF Global has made this strategic acquisition in the region at a time when nearshoring is gaining momentum.

Emerging Staffing Brokers, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm specialized in Ibero-American markets, was involved throughout the entire process that led to the agreement. “The Latin American market presents very interesting opportunities, and SGF has been able to seize them in two key markets such as Uruguay and Ecuador,” stated Eugenio Micheletti, Co-Founder and Director of the firm.

SGF Global operates in more than 30 countries and offers services such as staffing, statement of work, recruitment process outsourcing, employer-of-record services, payroll services, training, among others.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
