SGF Global acquired the offices and operations of Adecco Uruguay effective Sept. 1.

SGF Global is making this strategic acquisition in the region at a time when nearshoring is gaining momentum. The deal also brings in new clients and a team of skilled professionals with Adecco Uruguay staff moving to SGF Global.

Emerging Staffing Brokers was the M&A firm specializing in Ibero-American markets involved throughout the entire process that led to the deal. “The Latin American market presents very interesting opportunities, and SGF has been able to seize them on this occasion,” said Eugenio Micheletti, Co-Founder and Director of the firm.

SGF Global operates in more than 30 countries and provides staffing, statement of work, recruitment process outsourcing, employer-of-record services, payroll services, training and more. For its part, Adecco’s Uruguayan operations have been in business for more than 20 years.
