According to an article written by Kate Davidson and published by the Wall Street Journal, there are certain soft skills that are in high demand among employers. The conclusion arises from a survey developed on 2.3 million LinkedIn profiles.

In other words, employers are looking for workers with strong soft skills, but have difficulties finding them. Nevertheless, experts claim there is little information on this. In order to start developing data, LinkedIn researchers analysed profiles of their members to find out what soft skills are the more sought after among employers.

The most wanted skill is communication, followed by organization, teamwork, punctuality, critical thinking, social skills, creativity, interpersonal communication, adaptability and having a friendly personality.

People who own such skills should advertise them, as this will surely make them more attractive for employers.

As regards the least demanded skills, LinkedIn experts found out that the list included: business planning; emotional intelligence; team building; coaching; management; analysis; team management; resume writing; and business.
