It is an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion, the Ministry of Education and the Peruvian Institute for Business Alliance (IPAE)
In order to have a platform that provides reliable information about educational supply and the labour market’s demand, Peru shall launch the first Employment and Education Observatory during the next month.
The Observatory will enable young people to take decisions about which careers to study by having information about the Labour Market: the demand that exists for such career, the level of payment and the middle and long term projections it has.
Therefore, better informed young people will be able to set aside those options that do not fulfil there expectations.
It has been estimated that the platform shall be able to put education supply in order as well as link it to labour demand so as to train people on competences and skills required by companies.
