The executive will be replacing Daurio Speranzini Jr., who has been promoted to Head of Global Services Sales of GE Healthcare.

GE appointed Luiz Verzegnassi as the new president and CEO of GE Healthcare for Latin America. The executive used to be General Director of Brazil.

The appointment is the result of a consistent work that brings along proper results”, said Daurio Speranzini Jr., who, during his work as CEO consolidated the business’ regional focus in terms of education, research and development, and levered GE Healthcare’s market share, overcoming the market’s volatility.

Speranzini has been appointed to an important global role in the company, and is becoming part of a growing group of Latin American leaders that earn positive positions in the world, showing the relevance of the continent.

In his new role, Verzegnassi will be responsible for leading the activities and results of GE Healthcare in the region, strengthening the relationship with clients and expanding the local capacity of the business. “I feel honored taking this relevant position for the company and for the market. It is a privilege to lead and serve the GE Healthcare team in Latin America. My role will be focused on our clients, considering the supply of differentiated solutions, using edge-cutting technology and digital tools, as well as innovation to increase productivity and efficiency in their business”, he pointed out.

As General Director of Brazil, he has consistently surpassed the commercial goals of the business. He started his career at GE Healthcare in 2009, as General Director of Services for Latin America. Before working at GE, Verzegnassi worked in executive leadership role in the automotive industry.
