Gi Group Brazil, a subsidiary of Italian staffing firm Gi Group, announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Laborh Group, a Brazilian HR solutions services firm with nine offices across the country.

Labourh has over 20 years of experience in people management under the brands Laborh HR (recruitment and selection, temporary work and labor outsourcing), Laborh Hotels (hotel/catering) and Laborh Trade (marketing/promotional).

In addition to the significant portfolio of clients in telecommunications, industry, finance, technology, retail and services, Gi Group in Brazil reinforces its promotional marketing company, C2C (Close to Consumer), which will absorb the structure of Laborh Trade ,expanding its reach in the North and Northeast regions.

Gi Group was listed as #20 on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2015 Global 100 list of the world’s largest staffing and recruitment firms and is already a top 10 provider in Brazil.

Staffing Industry Analysts estimated that the entire Brazilian market for staffing and outsourcing (which is offered as a complementary service by Brazilian staffing firms) had annual revenue of BRL 83.2 billion (USD 38.7 billion) in 2013, however, the market is very fragmented with the top five companies comprising only 7% of the entire market.
