The Council Mexico France on Entrepreneurship and Innovation (COMFEI) is the result of the Inter-institutional Agreement signed by the Mexican National Entrepreneur Institute and the Agency Business France in July 2015 in Paris, France. Its main goal is to promote binational cooperation between France and Mexico to enable and develop entrepreneurship and innovation in both countries.
The COMFEI includes three key action points:
With the creation of COMFEI mechanisms to implement the high impact binational program shall be developed. Furthermore, the exchange of better practices in entrepreneurship, incubation and companies’ acceleration will be promoted.
In addition, the French-Mexican Centre of Innovation and Research will be created as part of the Innovation Committee. Its aim will be to improve strategic sectors and favour the exchange of patents developed in both countries, technology and knowledge transferences.
Also, the COMFEI seeks to develop business and work plan meetings to enable the access to productive chains and the development of suppliers between Mexican and French companies.
