Mobile devices expansion is changing the world of labour

According to an international study developed by the firm Xerox, next year 1300 million workers will be “mobile”.

During the past years a widespread growth of mobile devices has been registered, as well as an increase of cloud based solutions and deep insight towards social networks contents and unstructured data analysis.

Over half companies in the world (57%) offer some sort of home office scheme. Almost two thirds of the companies surveyed (74%) allow some sort of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).

75% of workers who own smartphones and tables want mobile impression for 2015. Around 66% expect 24/ access to corporative networks and information from any kind of device.

For next year there will be almost 6 million WiFi networks available.

Smartphones and tablets will gain prominence in the labour life of century XXI’s workers. The competitive advantages of organizations will be linked to an efficient use of those devices, among other things.
