The region has talent to enhance. Adequate leadership skills and creating successful teams may take us to the “championship”

According to the Sociology of Organizations, an organization is a differentiated social formation that has specific purposes, and a structure of horizontal and vertical roles. It is systemic because there are reciprocity relationships among the elements that form it. It is an interrelated ensemble of activities between two or more people who interact in order to achieve a common goal.

It demands leadership and, most importantly, a team. Relations have a strong rational component that enables work division and replacing members without compromising the structure, among other things. But it also has an emotional component that must be transformed into motivation oriented towards results.

Following this train of thought, it is interesting to analyze great sport teams, particularly the process that makes them great teams. It is in that transformation process where we can clearly see the characteristics of the open system that also experiences changes due to external conditions.

In order to “read” all this and make adequate decisions, leadership skills are needed. Pep Guardiola, Coach of the multiple times champion Barcelona FC, says that a leader is that person who is capable of bringing out the best in the people who are by their side. A simple and meaningful definition that comprehends the kind of leadership millennials desire. A kind of leadership that is based on enhancing talents by managing euphoria (excessive optimism) and dysphoria (discouragement) in a context of expanded company in which interactions go beyond the physical frontiers of a certain company and apply to the entire chain of value. It is in this point where the concept of CSR becomes tangible and concrete.

This form of management demands great flexibility and a holistic perspective of the entire productive process that includes employees, collaborators, suppliers, investors, as well as clients and competitors. When talent is united, when every role is enhanced, goals are achieved. The following challenge is to retain key talent that enables us to be better than our competitors. To start over, to enhance again and to evolve.

The element that brings diversity together is involvement. Without that element, evolution and innovation are not possible, and neither are productivity and competitiveness.

It is necessary to create the macro conditions that allow many organizations to reach that condition. To set regulatory frameworks that facilitate the creation of value, which will accelerate more inclusive growth for a region that has plenty of talent to enhance.
