On April 21st, the fourth edition of the Randstad Award will be developed in Argentina. During the event, the global employer branding research will be presented and the greatest companies to work in Argentina will be awarded.
The research is based on the opinion of over 200.000 survey respondents in 25 countries that represent 75% of the world’s GDP. On this occasion the most attractive companies to work in Argentina will be recognized. The list of companies is the result of the opinion of 8.000 people aged from 18 to 65 years old who shared their thoughts about the variables they consider relevant when choosing a company to work in.
The survey respondents of each country provide their perspectives, expectations and preferences linked to different aspects of employer branding, such as working environment, flexible work, attraction factors, work & life balance, as well as other variables that enable companies to anticipate trends and adjust their employer branding strategies in an increasingly competitive market for talent attraction and retention.
According to the results of the Randstad Award, flexibility is one of the most valued aspects of a job. Around 55% of the global working population would prefer a flexible schedule and 64% would like to do remote working somehow. In Argentina, only 39% of employers prefer a standard working week, while the rest look for different types of flex schedules.
Every year, the Randstad Award presents the most attractive companies to work in 25 countries. The goal is to measure the attraction that the largest employers of every country generate among potential employees. Therefore, the winner comes up from the answer to the question: would you like to work in this company?
Participant companies cannot ask or pay to be included or nominated. Only companies with over 1.000 employees are included. Besides, neither employees of these companies nor human resources experts participate in the survey. The sample is mostly focused on people under 40 years old, as the objective audience of the report is based on potential employees of the companies.
The Randstad Award focuses on two main issues: knowledge on the global brand and employer’s attractiveness. Knowledge on the brand refers to whether the survey respondents know the company properly enough to form an opinion about it. The employer’s attractiveness reflects the number of survey respondents who know the company and say they would like to work there.
