The Innovation Centre of BBVA gathered a group of entrepreneurs and experts in Madrid, who shared their professional career paths.

The experts said that a key characteristic of entrepreneurs is “resilience”, as they can go back to their natural state after being put under pressure. They also pointed out that they are relentless beings. And that when they commit to doing something they do it. The experts also highlighted that entrepreneurs always question even their own ideas and have an amazing networking capacity.

Carlota Mateos, founder and CEO of Rusticae, also pointed out intuition and common sense among entrepreneurs. Maite Ballester president of EY Foundation, promoters of the event together with BBVA, brought out the role of women and stated that entrepreneurship creates value both in society and in jobs.

The philologist and journalist Joani Sánchez talked about the experience and difficulties of entrepreneurship in Cuba. In Madrid, almost every expert agreed on the fact that Spanish legislations stop entrepreneurship.
