Bumeran, the leading employment website in Latin America, announced the acquisition of Laborum, the largest employment website in Chile. That way, the company has strengthen its regional leadership, adding Chile to the operations it already runs in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Panama, Ecuador and Venezuela.

According to a statement, the acquisition will accelerate the increase in the number of users. Currently, around 6 millions users enter the website per month to check the almost 80.000 job-posts published by the 7,000 companies registered in Bumeran.

Alejandro Navarro, CEO at Bumeran said “by acquiring Laborum we have extended our presence in Chile. We work to be the leaders in every country where we operate. We have been growing steadily since 1999, this year is our 15^th anniversary and we will continue growing.”

The executive stated they will invest to develop Laborum reinforcing it with better technology, communicational campaigns and re-structuring the commercial area
