A new edition of WorldSkills, presented by Samsung, is being developed. This time, the location is Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event gathers 1.230 students from 60 countries, who must show their skills in 50 different challenges.

This year, there are 123 Latin American students participating. They come from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Paraguay, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

During the WorldSkills 2015 the competitor must face work challenges following international quality standards. This way, students show their individual and collective technical skills while developing professional abilities.

The main goal of the competition is to strengthen the training that professional receive during technical courses. According to a report from the SENAI (Brazil), the professional who graduate from these courses have better chances of entering to the labour market and earn salaries that are up to 25% higher.
