The fall of economic activity in Argentina has generated a strong impact in the labour market, according to the last survey performed by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC)

During the first three months of the year, over 23.465 jobs were lost, when comparing to the same period on 2013.

Industries such as manufacture lost 13.000 jobs or such as construction lost 5.000 jobs.

Despite the fall of employment in the formal private sector of the economy, in the public sector it continued to grow: 40.000 jobs have been created.
