YPF and Dow Argentina signed a cooperation agreement to share good business practices, improve the knowledge on work teams and develop synergies that strengthen the current links between both companies.
The signing of the agreement was developed in YPF’s offices, in Buenos Aires. The event was attended by the President of Dow Argentina, Gastón Remy; the Vice-President of Downstream of YPF, Carlos Alfonsi; the Vice-President of Human Resources of YPF, Fernando Dasso, and the Director of Human Resources of Dow Argentina, Florencia Castleton, among other authorities.
The agreement includes the exchange of top performing professionals from different areas, which shall enable their development by expanding their knowledge and adding new and innovative techniques.
During the first phase, which started in August and is ending on this month, YPF professionals go to Dow facilities in Bahía Blanca. The second stage, planned from February to June 2017, Dow will be sending its work teams to YPF to work together in projects linked to Downstream and Upstream.
This initiative places YPF and Dow at the avant-garde of the latest human resources trends, by establishing a new paradigm that aims to share talents.
The alliance strengthens a solid commercial relationship that has been going on for decades between both companies, which are also successfully developing a joint venture of shale gas at El Orejano and have participation in Compañía Mega.
