In America, 42% of employers report difficulties to find adequate talent.
The lack of experience or of skills are the main causes for the difficulties employers face when hiring new employees.
According to ManpowerGroup’s annual study Talent Shortage 2016-2017, among the 42,000 employers surveyed all over the world, 40% are experiencing difficulties to fill vacancies in their companies; it is the highest percentage since 2007.
On a global level, the most difficult position to fill, for the fifth year in a row, is that of a worker certified in a craft.
When analysed by regions, America’s percentage of 42% of employers having difficulties in finding proper talent, is 6 points above Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.
