According to a report develop by the Peruvian Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (MTPE), the Peruvian Government expects to create around 25,000 jobs for 2017.
The report assures that the massive creation of jobs in the Peruvian labour market will be developed with the financing of over 400 public investment projects that the countries is promoting.
The Peruvian government will develop the program Peru Works, which, up to the moment, has made investments for USD 193 million destined to foster employability in the poorest areas.
The official report states that Peruvian authorities are targeting investments to workforce training in order to satisfy the demand of qualified workers in several productive sectors.
During this phase, up to 2017, the Peruvian government will develop programs to promote temporary jobs linked to building infrastructure, transportation networks, highways and sidewalks, among others.
According to data from the MTPE, during the last five years, this employability program has created 172,725 jobs.
