Mexico City December 5th 2016 – The Mexican Association of Human Capital Companies presented a new board of directors leaded by Edmundo Escobar, who will be the president of the Association during the next biennium (2017-2018).

With the attendance of Rafael Cantu, Manager of Audit at INFONAVIT, as a witness of honor, and the 22 associates, the new president of AMECH took oath in a ceremony were the other members of the new board of directors were announced, including Laura Obregón and Thierry Gonet  as Advisors, Mónica Flores as Secretary and Gabriel Aparicio as Treasurer.

During the previous biennium, the AMECH’s administration, leaded by President Laura Obregón Bermúdez, completed every goal it had. One of the most relevant ones was to keep on working together with the authorities to generate actions that promote the industry’s development and productivity.

For that reason, AMECH worked along with the Secretary of Economy and the Secretary of Labor to develop a new Mexican Rule, that shall help regularize the compliance of labor obligations and tax payment among every outsourcing company in the country. The NMX will take effect in the next few months to provide further legal security and certainty to companies and workers under the outsourcing regime.

Other key achievements were the associations AMECH started with certain public and civil organizations that shall enable it to reach plenty other sectors of the population. Some of the most relevant ones are the collaboration convention signed with the National Institute of Elderly People (INAPAM) and with the Association Ollin, Youth in Movement, plus other alliances, such as the one made with the National Institute of Households for Workers (INFONAVIT).

The new president, Edmundo Escobar, pointed out that during 2017 AMECH will keep on working hard in order to standardize outsourcing services in Mexico: “the AMECH will keep on pursuing opportunities to continue working together with authorities and organizations to benefit labor formality, employees and companies”.

Finally, Escobar reaffirmed the commitment of AMECH Associates to keep on been a national guide in terms of outsourcing services, promoting the compliance and quality of the services granted.
