Santander Rio has announced the appointment of Silvia Tenazinha Head Manager of Commercial Banking. Previously, Tenazinha was Country Manager at Almundo Argentina, and COO of Almundo Latin America.

In addition, Tenazinha was General Manager at Oracle Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.  She has a master degree from Singularity University and a college degree in Computer Sciences from the Universidad del Salvador.

Her arrival at Santander Rio confirms the transformation process the bank is developing to become the leading digital financial entity of the country. Tenazinha’s arrival can be added to the appointment of Sergio Lew as the bank’s CEO (who came from Santander United States) in April 2018, and of Federico Procaccini (former CEO of Google Argentina), who is responsible for the development of digital business and shall be appointed as CEO of Openbank, the digital bank of Santander Group that shall start working on 2019.
