Pablo Di Si, the first Argentinian to lead Volkswagen in Argentina since its return to the local market, has been appointed president and CEO of the company in the SAM region (South America, Central America and the Caribbean), and in Brazil.

The appointment became effective on October 1st, when he replaced David Powels, who shall be become the 1st Vice President of SAIC Volkswagen, in China.

Di Si started working in Volkswagen Group in 2014 and previously he worked in several key positions in Finances and Business Development in Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), both in the United States and in Brazil, were he lived for 11 years.

Volkswagen Argentina appointed Hernán Vázquez as new President and CEO of the company, replacing Pablo Di Si.

According to the company, Vazquez has a degree in Marketing and Advertisement, and he started working in Volkswagen back in 1987, performing in different positions.

In June 2015 he was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Volkswagen Argentina, position he has held until recently.

Vázquez is Argentinian, but a large share of his professional career was developed in Spain, where he held important roles in the different brands the company has in that market.
