NXTP Labs and the investors’ network, Tokai Ventures, started a call for the acceleration program “Agrotech 2016”, where Argentinian and Uruguayan entrepreneurs are invited to participate.
The program offers mentorship, visibility, and acceleration for startups with potential to become the most innovative solutions for the Latin American agroindustry. It expects to find startups in their initial phase, with at least one prototype ready to be launched to the market, great growth potential, and a regional and global business focus.
The stages of AgroTech 2016 are the following: analysis of the needs of the agroindustrial sector; call for participants; selection of the eight Argentinian and Uruguayan startups with the greatest potential for digital innovation to work during six weeks in their acceleration.
The call is open for technological and digital companies that have the potential of providing innovative solutions for the agroindustry, including topics such as biotech, big data, drones, e-commerce, risk management and decision making, among others.
The selected startups will have access to experts’ mentoring, NXTP Labs technological entrepreneurs’ network and to a network which currently includes over 2 thousand entrepreneurs and corporate partners. They will also participate in the “Pitch Competition”, facing key players of the industry and will obtain exclusive benefits, valued in over half a million dollars.
