The president of the National Entrepreneur Institute (INADEM) of Mexico, Alejandro Delgado Ayala, and the secretary of Micro and Small Companies (SEMPE) of the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade, and Services of Brazil, José Ricardo de Freitas Martins Da Veiga, signed an agreement that set actions to be developed by both countries to promote the growth of entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
“This agreement enables us to establish an exchange of experiences, methodologies, ad public policies on entrepreneurship, innovation, and productivity of MSMEs”, pointed out Delgado Ayala.
The convention is based on three key points:
1) Entrepreneurship training and access to markets for MSMEs. It is about improving products and phases linked to a better business environment, training, and business education, as well as developing an innovation ecosystem.
In addition, it promotes the strengthening of networking spaces for those involved in issues such as entrepreneurship, among other initiatives that enable the alignment between public and private initiatives that pursue sustainable development of small businesses and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
This point focuses on a number of projects to create an innovation bridge between Mexico and Brazil that shall enable the development and high impact acceleration for entrepreneurs in both countries.
2) Investments and access to credit for MSMEs in order to expand and consolidate the collaboration among bodies, integrating in an efficient and effective way the initiatives developed on this topic.
3) Presentation of phases and products that aim at spreading the culture of commercial and institutional intelligence production. This generates better results, costs and risks reduction, and makes it possible to achieve the goals formerly stated.
It is a collaborative commitment towards the future of work for the two Latin American giants.
