Under his management, the company went from having 30,990 billion dollars to 48,000 billion in 2012, and, since then, decreases that in 2015 meant 44, 294 billion dollars.
Coca-Cola is one of the main advertisers of the world. Only in television, it invests 231 million dollars in the United States’ market.
The company has announced it will have a new leader. Muthar Kent will leave his position as CEO starting May 1st 2017, to remain in the company as Chairman.
The new CEO of Coca-Cola will be the current chief operations officer, James Quincey, who has been working in the company for over two decades.
These news were welcome by the stock exchange and Coca-Cola shares (KO) in the NYE went up 2.49%, reaching their peak for the past 30 days, while the value of Coca-Cola Bottling Co., the largest bottling company in the United States, grew 3.24%. Coca-Cola FEMSA shares, which have a strong presence in Latin America, are also rising, with a 3.38% growth.
