The Technical Training Center of Bosch Argentina, the largest training school for professional mechanics in Latin America, has updated its educational offer with new academic options. One of its’ major bets is the relaunching of the Profession of Pumper by the end of 2016, after a successful first edition in 2015.
The course offers practical and intensive training in repairing diesel injection systems, one of the most demanded crafts in the current market. The learning modules include both: traditional mechanical technologies and information about the latest electronic technologies. During the lessons, students can work with diagnosis equipment and diesel calibration banks.
“We are proud to present a new edition of a course that represents a real chance to access the labor market for many professionals. The course does not demand previous knowledge and, in only two months, it trains highly qualified professional pumpers” said Sergio L’Estrange, Country Manager of the Automotive Aftermarket Division of Bosch Argentina.
In 2016, the Training Center also inaugurated two new short courses to train experts in Automatic Transmissions and DENOX System for Treating Exhaust Fumes. Furthermore, it organized a seminar in electronic injection for motorcycles, which was equipped with a motorcycle to be exclusively used for the lessons involved.
The Center was inaugurated over 10 years ago and has another center in Campinas (Sao Paulo, Brazil). The goal was to deliver services in every Latin American location. It has classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest technology, and provides theoretical-practical courses designed according to the current needs of the market and of professional mechanics. These courses include training in: Electronic and Mechanical Diesel Systems, Electronic Injection of Gasoline, Electricity of the Vehicle, Brakes Systems, and even Motorcycles Systems. The lecturers are instructors with broad experience in the field and trained in Mechanical Engineering.
There are around 800 and 1000 applicants per year who chose among the options that the Bosch Training Center offers, including employees of the company’s services network, independent auto repair shops, mechanical technicians, students and people who show interest in the area.
