USA’s President, Barack Obama, has announced a 600 million dollars investment in learning programs and grants in order to promote training for workers, focusing on employment offered in each community, an issue he considers to be “more urgent than ever”. President Obama announced a program of “almost 500 million dollars” to create a competence which strives to encourage training centres, companies and industry representatives to work together in order to create educational programs directed to job vacancies. Besides, the Department of Labor shall invest 100 million dollars in grants for those learning programs “which help young people and experienced workers to enter in a pathway towards better jobs, better salaries and ascendant careers”, explained Obama.
