The European Union is developing projects to improve employability levels among Latin American university students

In order to strengthen employability skills of university students in Latin America and turn into more competitive professionals, the European Union has invited universities from Peru, Colombia and Argentina to implement the “Project Erasmus+ Linkyou Cooperation between Latin America and Europe for Employability”. Training in entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation, and global employability trends will be provided through the academic crowdsourcing platform Challenge Academy.

The select group of academic institutions includes the University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), the universities of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom), Maastrich (Holland), Católica del Norte (Colombia), ESAN of Perú, Nacional del Litoral and Austral (Argentina) and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia). Other organizations that are also part of the project are Lipomize (Argentina), the Corporación Interuniversitaria de Servicios (Colombia) and the Fundación Universidad Empresa (Spain).

Using the academic crowdsourcing platform Challenge Academy, the academy and the private sector will exchange knowledge, in order to promote a better level of innovation and entrepreneurship among youngsters who participate in the project.
