Last week, in an event hosted in London, the Chinese company OnePlus introduced two new products: its wireless OnePlus Bullets earphones, and the new smartphone OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless, present an ergonomic design and features Google Assistant integration.
These earphones have a magnetic control system, so snapping and unsnapping the earphones will pause the music. This system enables performing different actions, such as taking a call. The quick charging system means that even as little as 10 minutes of charging will be enough for five hours of continuous listening. The earphones are compatible with different types of USB wires.
OnePlus has implemented the Energy Tube technology, which distributes sound in both ways inside the earbud. This results in better and clearer sound. The earphones will be available from June 5th on, and their price will be 69 euros.
OnePlus has also presented its new Smartphone, the OnePlus 6, which is a device “beyond its specifications”, as the company says.
The device has a 6.28 inches screen, with a full screen design 19:9 that places a notch in the upper side for the main camera and the face recognition sensor –which may unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds-.
OnePlus 6 includes a Snapdragon 845 Qualcomm processor that works at 2,8GHz and Adreno 630 GPU. It is available in both a 6GB or 8GB RAM version, and 64GB, 128GB or 256GB internal storage, according to the model.
This device has a quick charging system, and a 3,300 mAh battery, and works with Oxygen OS 5,1 based on Android 8.1.
The main camera has two sensors of 20 MP and 16 MP, and has been developed to get the needed stability to take clear pictures in poor light conditions. The frontal camera is of 16 MP.
As regards the design, the OnePlus has worked based on three concepts: “simplicity, comfort, and Quality”. Therefore, the smartphone has a curvy and minimalistic design, and has been built in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 crystal, which makes it more resistant.
The OnePlus 6 is already available in the colours Mirror Black and Midnight Black, at a starting price of 519 euros for it basic model of 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The Silk White color will become available on June 5th.
