Honor and Huawei are making an ascendant path as regards mobile devices production. Their devices beat quality standards at a fair price, and that delivers greater confidence on the Chinese giant.
On May 10th the Honor V8 was launched.
In terms of design, its dual camera and fingerprint reader resembles the P9 a bit. However, the metal case, unibody, and details make it more elegant.
It has a 5.7 inches LCD screen and the resolution depends on the version we choose. The 64 GB internal storage version has a QHD (2560 x 1440), being the first device of the Chinese brand to have this resolution. The more modest version, 32 GB, has a FullHD resolution.
As regards the chipset, the Honor V8 has a Kirin 950, which granted amazing results in the Mate. It has a 4 RAM memory and both versions (32 GB and 64 GB) has a microSD slot to extend the memory up to 128 GB.
The Honor V8 has a digital prints reader in the back side and above it you can find the dual camera, like in the P9. However, in this case there is no Leica certification. Nevertheless, we have a 12 MP resolution and a RGB and black and white sensor. The selfies camera has an 8 MP resolution.
The 3500 mA battery gives us an autonomous device that, adding the Doze mode of Android 6.0, can provide 2 days of use without charging the battery. The user’s interface is Emotion 4.1.
