The two giants of professional training have extended the agreement to keep on working together
There is a rising concern in the region to improve employment training. SENA has taken a major step: its trainees, instructors and managerial staff may learn from the SENAI experience, a South American giant with a long tradition.
This alliance grants the transfer of knowledge, methodology and technology to trainees and workers from both countries, which results on higher levels of productivity, competitiveness and employability.
“Together with SENAI will shall work on transferring knowledge to improve quality, relevance and employability in both countries”, pointed out Alfonso Prada, General Director of SENA.
Prada also said that the extension will guarantee closer relationships between both parties, strengthening their position as technical and technological training model in Latin America.
Rafael Lucchesi, General Director of SENAI, said that SENA “makes a major social contribution to support the after conflict process in their country”. In addition, he highlighted his interest to keep on developing processes to improve innovation and technology in the region.
The alliance includes a virtual library where SENA and SENAI publish learning programs and materials in Spanish and in Portuguese.
These are initiatives that other countries in the region should imitate.
