After a leak in European media where we can see the image of a leaflet of a smartphone called LG F490 L, also named LG Liger, LG prepares to launch its new phablet to the market.
The LG F490 L is a phablet, as the device is too big to be a smartphone, but not big enough to be a tablet. It has a 5, 9” screen with Full HD resolution – 1080p over an IPS LCD panel-. Therefore, it is not an up market device, such as the LG G3.
The novelty of LG F490 L -alias Liger- is its processor, which belongs to a new kind of processors elaborated by LG called NUCLUN, with eight cores, four of which work at GHZ and the four remainder at 1, 5 GHz. This processor comes together with a RAM memory of 2 GB and a 32 GB on-board storage.
The main camera is 13 megapixels, with automatic focus and a frontal camera of 2, 1 megapixels. The battery will have a capacity of 3.000 mAh, and its measures shall be a little bit smaller than those of the Nexus 6.
