On September 26th, Vander Morales, President of Sindeprestem and Fenaserhtt, represented Brazil during the meeting organized by WEC Latin America (former Clett&a), in Paris, France.

The modernization of the Brazilian labour legislation was extensively lauded by the international community, which expressed confidence on the effect it shall have to restore the investment potential of the country for companies from different sectors.

Those who attended the meeting said that the new regulatory framework provides greater legal security in the capital-labour relationship, making it more advantageous.

With these advances in the regulatory framework, neighbors in the region expect a transference of 40% of companies to Brazil, and they want to take the Brazilian labour reform as a model to promote changes in the region.

Among those who participated in the meeting were Annemarie Muntz, president of WEC Global, Denis Pennel, MD of WEC Global, and Martín Padulla, Founder and MD of staffingamericalatina.

The WEC Latam meeting was developed a couple of days prior the kickoff of the World Employment Conference, organized by WEC Global. The event will be developed on 28th-29th September, focused on the labour market’s dynamic during the digital era, and on the organization’s 50 years anniversary.
