Just like the other employment programs of the province (the PPP and the Por Mi), these new programs demand working 20 hours per week.

A new employment program focused on unemployed men was launched in Cordoba, Argentina. It prioritizes men over 40 years old, providing employability tools and granting useful skills to “re-enter” the formal labor market.

The so called Program of Job Placements for Male Adults (Programa de Inserción Laboral para Adultos varones – PILA) has 10 thousand vacancies, with scholarships of ARS 3,500 per month.

The program will have private and public funding. Companies with less than 15 employees will pay ARS 650 of the scholarship per month; the companies with 16 to 80 employees, will pay ARS 1,000 per month, and the larger companies will pay ARS 1,200 per PILA. In every single case, the province will complete the scholarship to reach the ARS 3,500.

Just like every other provincial employment program (PPP and Por Mi, aimed at unemployed women), it demands working 20 hours per week.

Applications: until October 6, those who are interested may submit their applications to access a PILA program.

Forms: the forms to apply to the program will be available in the webpage of the Secretary of Equity and Employment Promotion.

Requisites: men from 25 to 65 years old, unemployed.

Priority for those who are older than 40 years old.

Once the submission period is over, applications will be analyzed and on October 24th the list of applicants who can access the program will be published. The program will start on November 1st 2017.
